First
make sure that your computer speakers are plugged in and they
are turned on. If you hear sounds when the computer turns on,
then your speakers are working correctly. If you hear nothing
but are getting video, click on the Start button, then Control
Panel. Then double-click on the icon for Sounds and Audio Devices.
Make sure under the Volume tab that Mute is not checked. If
it is checked, uncheck it. Then click on Apply, then OK. You
might also want to try either re-installing Windows Media Player,
or updating to a newer version of Windows Media Player. Sometimes
media player software might get corrupt, and re-installing or
updating will fix the problem. Some company computers might
not have a sound card; in this case, you will need to take the
course on another computer that has a sound card.
