Video Delivery

Now here is one of the very best features to our training technology! The problem with most video that you see on the Internet is two-fold. First, there is almost always some delay with either the download of the video or in the buffering time required while waiting for streaming video. The slower your Internet connection, the longer the delays you will experience.

Second, is the compromise in size and quality. In order to expedite the download process of the video file, video is usually committed to a smaller view-space and the quality of the video itself is compromised to less frames-per-second. This delivers video that is small, dark and somewhat choppy. In addition, most Corporate firewalls will not allow employees to download or stream video because of the strain that it places on network resources and bandwidth.

Our process, however, offers a solution to all of this. Our programs are accessed and run over the Internet or through a Corporate Intranet but the video scenarios are supplied to each student on CDROM and run from the local PC. Our video is not downloaded or streamed over the network. This allows for almost no impact on network resources and allows any user to connect with any speed modem and get virtually the same response and effectiveness from the training. Courseware is designed to allow the student to learn at their own pace, to repeat material for better understanding and to complete the training as their schedule permits. If during the course the user must exit the system, the program recognizes and saves their progress. This will allow the user to return at their leisure to continue the course from the point where they left off. If preferred, the student may review completed material again prior to continuing and completing the course.
